iGeom

The next exercises are used to introduce the Interactive Geometry with iGeom. They are designed to present the basic question: the objects must reflect the dependence. For instance, if you want to construct a segment initiating in an intersection point of 2 circles, you must select the correct one, since (usually) there are 2 of them.

 Exercises  Subjects
Exercise 1 Given the points A, B and C and the circle c0, you must construct: the mesaure of the arc BAC, the radius of c0 (distance |A-B|), then, using the interactive calculator, you must define the fraction arc BAC/distance |A-B|.
Exercise 2 Given the points A, B and C and the radius r and s, you must construct: the bisection of these 2 rays (another ray that is equidistant of both).
Exercise 3 Given the points A and B, you must construct the midpoint of AB.
Exercise 4 Given the points A and B, you must construct the perpendicular line of AB (i.e., the line that is perpendicular to AB and pass by their midpoint).
Exercise 5 Given the points A and B and the segment r, you must construct a square over AB. Note that there are 2 possibilities, you must produce the one whose vertex are above AB, when considering. the initial configuration.
Exercise 6 Given the points A and B, you must construct a equilateral triangle over AB. Note that there are 2 possibilities, you must produce the one whose vertex are above AB, when considering. the initial configuration.

Remember:

  1. iGeom do not use the "drag-and-drop" pattern, in order to reduce stress-related muscle tension, reducing harm with the intensive use of the software. So, usually you need to click the construction button, them click the drawing area (or some object).
  2. After you finish you exercise answer, please, click the button
